I work in the legal field and live with my wife and our two dogs in a small Australian country town in Northern New South Wales called Mullumbimby. In the local Bunjalung language Mullumbimby means 'mountain shaped like woman's breast'. We look out from our kitchen window onto the nurturing nipple of that breast. I have a Masters of Philosophy from the University of Glasgow and have an endearing interest in history, religion and anthropology. I am particularly interested in the role animals have played in the moral and spiritual development of humanity.
